Their combination of magnification and objective diameter produce wide exit pupils with enhanced light-gathering ability to extend the binoculars' usefulness from dawn to dusk or in challenging light such as looking into dense brush or under a heavy canopy. The compact BK7 roof prisms keep the overall form factor slim and easy to pack and handle, despite the larger objectives. For long-duration observation sessions, the Venture can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter to eliminate vibrations and arm fatigue from having to hold the binoculars up to your eyes. Black rubber armoring on the weather-resistant housing protects the optic from bumps and light rain as well as providing a slip-resistant grip.
