The «Champion Knitting Mills Inc.» company was founded in 1919 by the Feinblum brothers.
Champion sewed athletic uniforms for all NBA teams in the 1990s, as well as for some NFL teams in the 1980s and 1990s. The company also supplied sportswear to many American colleges, and in 1992 made uniforms for the Dream Team used in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Since the mid-eighties Champion has become popular among teenagers and students. The brand produces sportswear not only for ordinary training, but also for outdoor activities, the popularity of which is growing every year.
